Food Service Coordinator
fund Carrie's work
Carrie Bennett is from Garden River in Ontario, Canada, and now lives in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. She started working at Cedar this summer of 2019. She prepares the food for Old Mill Point and oversees the kitchen crew. When she is not working she enjoys photography, spending time with her family, and kayaking.

Dave's job is to facilitate the “fun” part of how people find restoration at Cedar Campus. His number one responsibility is to make sure that we’ve created a safe place for people to come away from their daily life to focus on their family, their spiritual walk and on their relationship with the Creator. Dave enjoys boating, hiking, camping and the outdoors.

Miles is originally from the Chicago suburbs and grew up attending Family Camp 5 here at Cedar Campus. He has been working in camping ministry since 2013, and has enjoyed working with kids, seeing them grow closer to God and have fun. Now, he enjoys training, equipping, and developing children's program crew to take part in that experience. His hobbies include skiing, sailing, and learning Swedish.
Recreation Activities Staff

Ellie first came to Cedar Campus as a student with UW-Stevens Point. After working at Cedar for a few summers, God has now led her back to become Recreation Activities Staff. She has a passion for the outdoors and inviting all to come see the beauty of God’s creation. In her free time she enjoys playing music, being active, and reading.
Guest Services Manager
fund Kelly's work
Kelly started coming to Cedar Campus as a Chapter FOCUS Week student, moved on to serving as summer crew, and eventually transitioned to year-round staff. She has recently moved from being camp's registrar to Guest Services Manager, and oversees the Guest Services staff to ensure the needs of guest groups are met. She enjoys her family, reading, gardening, and learning new things.

Matt came to Cedar in November of 2018 with his wife Lisa and their three children Eden, Asher and Ana. His previous experience includes working in Detroit with a faith-based non-profit health center serving those most in need in the city. Thankful for the calling to Cedar, he works to support the team in their efforts to provide a place for our guests to come away, meet God and be renewed.

Daniel has worked in Buildings and Grounds department since 1994. He does a lot of the mechanical repairs and fabrication of parts for some of our older equipment. He enjoys flying large kites, making things, and spending time with his wife and four kids. He also enjoys seeing students grow in their understanding of who Jesus is.
Guest Services Staff
fund Emily's work
Emily joined the Cedar staff team in September 2019. Previously, she was the Marketing Intern in 2018-19, and was a part of the summer crew for three summers. She grew up attending Family Vacation Week here at Cedar, and enjoys spending time in God's creation. She graduated from Oakland University and was an active member of the InterVarsity chapter there. Emily is excited to continue to see God transform the lives of students and families that come to Cedar Campus. Emily enjoys playing clarinet, kayaking, reading, and anything to do with Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, or Marvel.

Dave has come back to Cedar Campus after spending 4 years working at Intervarsity's Campus by the Sea (Catalina island California). He is working with the Facilities staff, interns, and crew to complete projects and improve the grounds. He enjoys kayaking or being on the water as well as being in the woods as much as he can. Dave also grew up in the area.

John joined the Cedar Campus team in 2015. He has a background in camp ministry, loves leading worship and anything outdoors or on the water. John and his wife Jenni, along with their three children, Elijah, Gabriel, and Story, are excited to be a part of the work God is doing at Cedar Campus.
fund Landa's work
Landa Miller started working at Cedar Campus in June of 1993. She serves as camp's Business Manager, and enjoys working mostly behind the scenes in the office. She feels truly blessed to be part of the Cedar Campus team. She lives in Hessel with her husband Bob, and they enjoy boating in the summer. Both she and her husband have lived in the area for their entire lives.

Hannah first joined the Cedar Campus team in June 2014 after graduating high school in nearby De Tour Village. She returned for an additional 3 summers of crew. After taking the summer of 2018 off from working at Cedar, Hannah came back during the summer of 2019 and joined the Guest Services staff. Hannah enjoys being near or on the water, camping, reading, working on puzzles, watching freighters, and playing games with friends and family.

Nate first came to Cedar Campus in May of 2012 as a Student with Michigan Tech's IV chapter. It was then during Chapter FOCUS Week that he heard the good news of the gospel and first believed. Four years later he served as Buildings and Grounds summer crew from 2016-2018. In September of 2018, he joined the Cedar Campus staff full-time as part of the Buildings and Grounds department. Nate enjoys playing music, designing board games, and ministering to youth and college students.
Guest Services Staff
fund Abbey's work
Abigail has served on the Guest Services team since 2014, collaborating with guest groups prior to their arrival and hosting them while they are at Cedar Campus. She is also the Volunteer Coordinator - a role that she values more and more as she builds relationships with those who serve alongside our staff. Abbey likes horses, reading, hiking, listening to Christmas music, and playing volleyball.
